Estación Biológica Yanayacu


In the reserve there is a great diversity of flora  and fauna of the area itself, within the site there is a butterfly,made projects of birds, beetles, insects and plants. They have five cabins for lodging.

Las Caucheras

It is in the parish of Cosanga, 25 minutes from Baeza.This place allows direct contact with nature is the perfect place for ornithologists, botanists and conservationists, as the sector offers opportunities to appreciate the biological diversity of the cloud forest.

Río Quijos 


The Quijos River is located in the canton of the same name, born in the eastern failures Antisana volcano, the importance of this river for kayaking and rafting is so high internationally for its categorization that developed 4+ Cup Amazon in one occasion and a world championship in  October 2005.








Waterfalls Nature Trail II and III Machángara


The Nature Trail has 1900 m. through the forest; This allows access to the two waterfalls Machángara  River, part of the road  is a  horseshoe; the same that was restored, as it was used by the first inhabitants of the county. It has triple cascade waterfall and comprises a height of  about 16 m. 4 m. wide ford that is formed is small.The waterfalls are surrounded by great diversity of flora and fauna, typical of the area.

Mirador de Condijua

This viewpoint is located in the town of Baeza, a distance of 4 kilometers to the south. It starts from the old neighborhood Baeza walk for 2 hours or four wheel drive vehicle in 15 minutes by road after passing the cemetery and cross the river Machángara through a metal bridge and wood.

Baeza Colonial

The oldest square in Baeza, witnessed multiple sporting events, social, civic, cultural, it was remodeled and converted into attraction park and recreational complex. Visitors fun at their basketball courts, and índorfútbol volleyball also in green spaces surrounded by fresh air and tranquility Amazon.

Bosque Protector Guango
